The Cat Club has been an institution in the San Francisco nightlife scene for over three decades.
Known for hosting some of the best events and parties from its long running weekly 80’s night to monthly Goth/Industrial, New Wave, 70s Disco, and 90s Hip Hop nights and everything in between.
Always a mixed scene of people and music, this nightclub likes to mix it up.

Q: WHAT AGES ARE ALLOWED?
A: We are 21+ w/ ID Only.
Accepted IDs: Drivers License or Government Issued ID, U.S. Military ID, Passport or Passport Card Only.
ID must be current and valid to be accepted. We have the right to refuse service and entry.
Q: WHAT hours are you open?
On average we are open from 9pm-3am Tuesday-Saturday

Q: DO YOU have a cover?
Yes, there is a cover most nights averaging around $10 w/ early bird discounts most nights.
Check our calendar for cover price for any given night. Cover charge subject to change at any point.
Q: Do you take credit cards? Is there an ATM?
A: While we only accept CASH for Cover at the door, we accept CREDIT CARDS at both of our bars with a $20 minimum.
We also have an ATM available near the front door.
Q: Is there re-entry into the club?
A: Yes, we will issue you a stamp at the door upon payment. This stamp is good for re-entry for that night only.
Q: Is there a dress code?
A: While most nights do not have a dress code we do suggest you dress to impress and put on your dancing shoes!
Q: Is there a Coat Check?
A: Yes, most nights we have a coat check available for a $3+ Fee. Tipping is encouraged.
Q: What kind of music do you play?
We play a broad range of music (80s, 90s, goth, industrial, new wave, hip hop, pop, and more) to dance to depending on the night. Check our calendar for detailed information on specific nights.
Q: Can I bring a camera into the club?
