Emerging out of the Birmingham England New Romantic scene in the early 1980s, Duran Duran helped bring MTV to the forefront with their cinematic and innovative music videos. By 1984, the Fab Five had become the biggest band in the world. Le Bon described the group as "the band to dance to when the bomb drops.”
